Peppino's

Set in the picturesque bay of St. Julians, Peppino's has been established for more than 10 years and has become an institution as an excellent meeting place for all occasions, whether it be business entertaining, a romantic meal or a friendly get-together as well as a popular spot for dining alone, thanks to the friendliness of the owners and staff who offer consistently good food in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

Depending on your mood and occasion you can choose to eat or drink either at the famous Wine bar on the first floor - an excellent meeting place with a warm welcoming and friendly atmosphere which encourages conversation among friends and visitors alike, or in the more formal restaurant on the above floors set inside the French windows or on the terrace both commanding exceptional views across Spinola Bay.

Whether you choose to eat at the Wine Bar or the restaurant you can choose from the a la carte menu. The Wine Bar also offers a selection of light dishes displayed on the blackboard, perfect for a light lunch or dinner. The a la carte menu has a distinctly Italian flavour interspersed with a few French dishes. There are occasional changes of dishes every 4 months, but the menu will always offer a good selection of mouthwatering antipasti, soups and pasta as a starter. Specialities of the house include Tagliatelle All Vittorio with artichokes, shrimps, spinach and fresh cream; and home made salmon ravioli. The main course offers a generous choice of different meats and fresh fish of the day. Meat dishes may include boneless quails with lemon or Petto di Pollo al Dede - apparently named after the owner Dede and comprises breast of chicken in an orange and apricot sauce. Deserts include a selection of home made cakes, sorbets and semi-freddo.
