The Xara Palace is located just a few metres from the main entrance of the walled historical city of Mdina and opened its doors to receive its first guests on the 1st May 1999. It caters for the individual traveller, mini groups as well as corporate travellers. As a guest you will have the privilege of staying in one of seventeen individually designed suites / rooms imbued with unique features and decorated with period pieces as well as original paintings by renowned Maltese and International artists.

The award winning 'de Mondion restaurant' enjoys spectacular panoramic views and promises to be one of Malta's leading gastronomic treasures offering the best of typical Modern French and Mediterranean cuisine.A full buffet breakfast and la Carte dinner are served daily. During the summer months, dining is available on the terrace. Lunch is available on request for groups.The Trattoria A.D.1530, which is open for lunch and dinner where all types of mouth-watering dishes are on offer. Teas and delicious patisserie are also available.

The elegant Atrium cocktail bar is open in the evenings for your favourite pre and post prandial tipple.

The boardroom has a capacity for up to 12 persons in boardroom style and may also be used for private dining. Two other venues are available and can accommodate between 18 and 30 persons, depending on set-up required. Audio/ Visual equipment is available on request and at a charge.
